Has anyone been to the northern most point of LKN?  How far can you get up there?  I know you can't take a boat (has to be a seadoo).  I've made it up pretty far, but decided to turn back when I didn't see anymore houses.

I have a 27ft Bayliner and turned back at the Buffalo Shoals Rd / Hudson Chapel Rd bridge. Its just north of the Long Island Marina. It got real shallow and there was lots of debris floating. I am not going past that marina again. I did see a guy in a jon boat going farther up.

yeah, you can also see the difference in water color. It's more of a brownish tint. I assume that because its so shallow and has never been dredged.

It's amazing to see how the different the shoreline is compared to the southern part of the lake.

My husband and I took our pontoon boat way up past the Long Island Marina, almost to where 70 passes over the river. It is real shallow up there but the fishing is good along the rail road tracks. We had a home in Harbor Watch and used to hang out on the islands and listen to the tunes coming from the "frogger bar". The water fun is great up this end because it has much less traffic than the lower end. Once you go below the 150 bridge, it's a different world! We are headed out this weekend for a party on the lake. Hope the weather is on our side:)
