Mike Kivett tragically died on 1-30-2010. He is the dad to Legend Driver Tyler kivett #46 and Ashley Kivett. He was a very kind man always helping his fellow racer. I just moved from the Bandits to the Outlaws. This summer Mr. Kivett lended out his racing knowledge along with others to set my car up for the Winter Heats at Lowes. he never even knew me but cared because he wanted to help out my causes.
I now want to turn this sorrow into joy, joy of helping others in severe need.
Toys should be unwrapped and in new condition. Needed toys are color books, crayons, cars, barbie dolls, games, books, video games, stuffed animals, dolls, blocks, baby and toddler toys, baby items such as bottles, bibs, etc. Any new toy is welcomed and your generosity is love being passed on for others.
Jeffrey Stanton racer of Outlaw bandolero 61 founded Jeffrey's Toy Closet in 2006 giving over 3000 plus toys to date. Until now he has done it mainly with his lunch money and chore savings. Jeffrey's Toy Closet all started in a Ole Dale Earnhardt Lunch Box and a child who seen need in other kids.
Below is an article that was written about Jeffrey's Toy Closet by the Salisbury Press on Christmas Day 2007.
