About Me:
|
My name is Jeffrey The Jet Stanton. I race a Bandolero at Lowes Motor Speedway,Concord Speedway,Bowman Gray and other tracks throughout the Southeast.
Racing is my passion. If it has wheels I like to sport it around a track fighting my way through the field. Many said I would never be able to do it when I was little. I guess you could say I am a bit diversified, as I deal with the challenges of autism. I'm fortunate as my autism is very mild. Focusing on my racing and helping others has made a whole bit of difference. I love school and easily make A's. What most people know me for though beside being Jeffrey The jet Stanton who races the #61 Pro-Tech,Cool Shirt,TACA sponsored Bandolero Driver is my charity that I started when I was 9 years old. Jeffrey's Toy Closet gives me great joy because I get to put thousands of smiles on kids faces who otherwise would of been sad! In 2007 I saved all of my chore, birthday and LUNCH money in an ole Dale Earnhardt Lunch Box and headed to Walmart and other places and bought toys.Lots of Toys! Not for me but for kids in my school and for Stocks for Tots and the Angel Tree of Rockwell, NC. I also dipped into my 2 toy closets and stripped them of all of my new like toys. I then "RACED" my sleigh (my race car hauler)over to these organizations that needed toys just in time to help Santa put smiles on kids faces. The two things more than anything in this world that I want to do with my life is to race and continue to make kids happy through my charity, "Jeffrey's Toy Closet"This year I am fighting upward in the beginner points battle(I'm in 2nd currently) and am gathering up toys for kids in need. If you want to help me just e-mail me at jeffreystantonracing@roadrunner.com. One of my elves will gladly help you. I may be just 12 years old...I turned 12 two days ago, but no matter the diversification, with a will and faith in God, you can make this world a better place and have great joy in the process. My first lap ever in my Bandolero(or any race car for that matter)was in front of 400,000 fans at Lowes motor Speedway during the Pre-race for the All Star Race. I knew then that my life is in a race car and all of the negative people who said I couldn't do it went flying behind me at 70 miles per hour.
I also am dedicated to educating people about Autism. With 1 out of at least 150 kids coming down with autism daily, the need is great for people to be aware not only of what autism is but how this world can help autistic kids. Many suffer horribly. So I asked T.A.C.A. if I could place them on my car and distribute their autism information and materials at the various racetracks I race at. They were happy to allow me to do this so I am making a impact on doing my part to educate others about this disease. It's especially important to educate about the positives and the hope that exists. So everytime I take a lap around the track, I give hope through the words...Talk About Curing Autism. Thank you for READING ABOUT ME, I GOT TO GO PRACTICE MY LAPS,I have several races to win, toys to collect, words to speak about autism and a Championship to win!
